External Websites

The Site may contain links to other sites. Our privacy policy does not apply to external websites. These links are provided as references to help you identify and locate other resources that may be of interest. These other sites are independently maintained by entities other than Acanthus Appraisals and Consultation Services, LLC, and Acanthus Appraisals and Consultation Services, LLC does not assume responsibility for the information contained at such sites. We do not control these third-party trackers and encourage you to review their specific privacy policies.

Hosting

The Site is hosted on a server owned by a third party that generates and stores visitor data in server log files directly on the web server. Server logs are raw, server-side text files recording every request (including bots), that record everything that happens on a web server.

The information collected in these log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamps and referral pages. The log files are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable and are used to ensure site security, prevent fraud, troubleshoot errors, record the pages that are visited on the Site and gather geographic information.

The hosting company has supplied a Data Processing Addendum that states they are in compliance with data protection laws, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR) of the European Union, where it operates.

California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) - Do Not Track

We do not track our users over time and across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising and therefore do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. However, some third-party sites do keep track of your browsing activities.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
